At Gateway Baptist Church, we truly believe that "children are an heritage of the LORD". (Psalms 127:3)  Each child is a precious gift from God to their families.  Our church is here to help children and their families in any way that we can.  We offer:

Children's Sunday School (Sunday 10:00 A.M.)

Currently, we have one class for all ages.  There are around 10 children that attend our Sunday school programme from ages 2-12.  Soon, we will be looking to break the group into more age groups using the Joyful Life curriculum.

Children's Church: Ages 4 and under (Sunday 11:15 A.M.)

After the song service, all children 4 and under are welcome to attend our children's church service.  It is a time of Bible songs and a lesson geared towards their age group.  This has been a great avenue to transition children into sitting in a complete church service.

Kids Club

Once a year, we have a 5 day vacation Bible school.  It is a time of games, snacks, songs, and Bible lessons.  Each year, we have our Kids Club during the June school holidays.   We look forward to seeing you there!

Ministry Opportunities

Not only does Gateway welcome children in all our service but we also encourage them to serve in our services.  All our ushering is done by the boys of the church.  Many offertories are played by children in our church.  As we grow, there will be many more opportunities for the children of the church to actively serve God.

FOUND: The Fountain of Youth

Through out all of time, man has sought for a way to beat death.  They have longed for eternal life.  Explorers have searched for the "fountains of youth".  Doctors have tried to develop drugs and treatments to "prevent aging" and prolong life.  Although doctors have been somewhat successful with these treatments and drugs, one soon realizes that everyone has an appointment with death.  They find the Bible very true when it says in Psalms 90:10 that the average life span is 70 to 80 years.   After these 70 to 80 years, what happens to us?

What Makes Gateway So Different?

Today, one is overloaded with different churches all claiming to be the only one or the best one.  With every passing church experience, one can get very discouraged with all the man-made rules and religions out there. 

Well, guess what?  At Gateway, we are sick of all that too!  When you visit Gateway, you will not find a group of religious people following man-made rules to earn heaven!  You will find common people who have discovered that a personal relationship with God makes all the difference!
